Virginia Woodcrafts, Inc. is a family owned small business incorporated in February 1996 in the Commonwealth of Virginia for the purpose of conducting business as a construction contractor.
Since incorporating, the company has continued to expand, doing both residential and commercial work, especially in the cedar-roofing facet of the construction trade. Recent notable contracts completed include re-roofing the Kings Mill Golf Clubhouse and the multi-unit Williamsburg Shopping Center as well as numerous new and re-roofing jobs in the aforementioned developments. Virginia Woodcrafts, Inc. was chosen by Colonial Williamsburg to re-roof the Timson House (circa 1715-1718) using taper-sawn cedar shingles installed in the authentic manner. In 1998 the company re-roofed the cedar shingle steeple on the historic Bruton Parish Church in Williamsburg. Other efforts include decks and ramps for the new Legends of Virginia golf courses at New Kent and Stonehouse and many remodeling projects and room additions in the greater Williamsburg area.
